Welcome

I am a microbial ecologist and evolutionary biologist studying how environmental context shapes bacteria-phage interactions, currently as a YIBS Donnelley and NSF Postdoctoral Fellow in the Turner lab at Yale University. During my PhD, I studied plant-associated bacteria-phage interactions in the Koskella lab at the University of California, Berkeley.  See my research page for more information about current and prior projects.

I am an incoming faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina, beginning in January 2026. I will be recruiting at all levels - more info coming soon, but please reach out if we have shared interests and you are interested in applying for a PhD at USC! (Applications due December 1)
